Eligibility for Michigan CPL Renewal

To qualify for a Michigan CPL renewal class, you must hold a current CPL or have a CPL that expired within the last 12 months. If your CPL has been expired for more than 12 months, you may be required to take the full 8-hour CPL class again.

Michigan renewal applicants must be able to certify they completed the required review and range time prior to submitting their renewal application. We cover the required review topics in a clear, instructor-led format so you can complete the study portion confidently.

About Our Live Zoom Michigan CPL Renewal Class

This is a live, 3-hour instructor-led course conducted via Zoom. You can attend from the comfort of your home while still getting the personal touch and real-time Q&A that makes training more valuable than self-study.

Important: There is no legal requirement to take a class to renew your CPL. Many people self-study. Our renewal class exists because it’s the fastest, simplest way to make sure you actually covered what Michigan expects—without spending hours searching for the right info.

Range time is not included in this Zoom class. After the class, you can complete your shooting requirement on your own.
